The smallest of the accessible Saronic islands at 13.37 km² with 1,131 residents at the 2021 census. Skala is the main port with most of the accommodation, Megalochori (Milos) is where most islanders live and Limenaria sits on the far side. Boats from Piraeus take about an hour; from Aegina it is roughly ten minutes by the Agistri Express or a water taxi.
