A Saronic island 37 nautical miles (69 km) from Piraeus, population 2,070 at the 2021 census. Wheeled transport is banned by law, including bicycles and e-bikes, with rubbish trucks the only motor vehicles; horses, mules, donkeys and water taxis do the work instead. High-speed catamarans and hydrofoils from Piraeus take roughly 1 hour 10 minutes to 1 hour 55 minutes depending on service.
