Panathenaic Stadium and its track

The all-marble stadium rebuilt for the 1896 Olympics, open 08:00–19:00 March to October and 08:00–17:00 November to February. Admission has been €12, reduced €6, since 1 October 2025. Important for 2026: the track itself was closed to visitors while the surface was replaced and the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic flame ceremony was prepared, with access resuming on 17 September 2026, so runners arriving before that date can enter the stadium but not use the track.
