The Acropolis at opening time

Gates open at 08:00; the site runs 08:00–20:00 from 1 April to 31 October and 08:00–17:00 from 1 November to 31 March. Entry is by timed slot with a daily cap of 20,000 visitors, and the 08:00–09:00 hour carries the largest quota, so the first slot is both the coolest and the least crowded. Since the April 2025 price reform the standard ticket is €30 year-round, sold through the state site hhticket.gr.
