Copenhagen Contemporary
An international art centre for large-scale installation art in a former industrial hall at Refshalevej 173A on Refshaleøen. It shows changing large-format exhibitions plus a permanent James Turrell light installation, 'Aftershock'. As of 2026 the programme includes Camille Henrot 'Paper Planes' (5 June - 31 Dec 2026) and the Kengo Kuma/KKAA architecture show 'Earth | Tree' (28 March 2026 - 21 Feb 2027).
