Sea Kayak Samos
Guided sea-kayak trips along Samos' hard-to-reach coastline, from three-hour paddles to five-day expeditions.
About
Based at Ireo, they take small groups out in single and double kayaks to beaches no road reaches. The three-hour trip covers about 6km, the half day 10km over five to six hours with stops for swimming, snorkelling and lunch in a deserted cove, and the long day 15-25km over eight hours. Five-day expeditions are run for stronger paddlers, usually in early May and mid-October, and they also paddle through the winter, when the sea is glassy and the island empty.
