Port of Karlovasi

Down at Ormos Karlovasiou, below the town, the same Piraeus-line ships that call at Vathy also dock here — about seven and a half hours to Piraeus. It is the practical port for western Samos and the quickest hop to Ikaria, a little over an hour to Evdilos. The quay is small and quiet, so arrange a taxi or a car in advance if your ship lands late at night.
