About
The palaeontological collection at Mytilinioi dates back to 1967 and moved in 1994 into the present building, put up by the Konstantinos and Maria Zimalis Foundation. Cases are filled with fossil bones of Miocene mammals dug up around the village. Further rooms cover minerals and rocks, birds, marine life and Aegean flora. One of the island's best stops for curious kids.
