Drakaioi to Megalo Seitani

Drakaioi is the last village on the western road and still feels it — a handful of residents and deep quiet. Route 6 drops 4.2 km through pine forest that reaches almost to the water and comes out at Megalo Seitani, with its sand, cedars and drinking-water tap. There is no road down to the beach, so either climb back up the same way (244 m of ascent) or continue east to Potami on route 1. A bus runs from Karlovasi but services are sparse, so check times before you set off.
