About

Kokkari lies about 10 km north-west of Vathy and its beach runs along the front of the village, so you can leave the car behind. The pebbles are white with patches of sand here and there, and behind you are umbrellas, sunbeds, a beach bar and a row of fish tavernas. This is one of the windiest corners of Samos: when the meltemi blows, swimming needs care, but the windsurfing conditions become excellent.
