About
Posidonio is a small harbour thirteen kilometres south-east of Vathy at the island's eastern tip, looking across the strait to the Turkish coast. The cove is small and completely sheltered from the strong winds, with pebbles and green, crystal-clear water, and pines reaching down to the shore for shade. There are umbrellas and sunbeds, and two or three fish tavernas do the rest.
