It is the same shoreline as Votsalakia — locals do not even separate the two, calling the whole stretch 'Votsalakia'. As you walk east towards Ormos Marathokampou the crowds thin out, the pace drops and the shore turns sandier with fewer pebbles. A few trees behind the beach give shade without an umbrella in places, and there are tavernas, cafés and rooms set back from the water. You can easily walk here from Votsalakia along the shore.
