Lemonakia Beach

The first cove west of Kokkari and the easiest one for a quick swim — if you fancy it, you can walk there in 20-25 minutes. The bay is enclosed, so it stays fairly sheltered when the meltemi blows, and there are sunbeds, umbrellas and a taverna above the beach. Because it is small it fills up early in July and August, so come before eleven or late in the afternoon.
