Psili Ammos (Marathokampos)
A 550-metre sandy beach in the south-west, with pines close to the shore and water that stays shallow for tens of metres.
About
About three kilometres west of Votsalakia on the road towards Limnionas, Psili Ammos has fine golden sand with a few small white pebbles at the water's edge and at either end. The seabed slopes very gently and the water stays around half a metre deep for some seventy metres, making it one of the safest choices for small children. Pines near the shore give natural shade and there is a fairly large cave at the eastern end that stays cool, while the organised sections have umbrellas, sunbeds, showers, changing rooms and toilets, with restaurants and cafés just above.
